Kristen Freeland
Kristen Freeland is originally from California where she began working on human rights issues and harm reduction in marginalized communities through her work with Food Not Bombs, Needle Exchange and San Francisco Women Against Rape. Kristen joined the Sex Workers Project in June of 2005 as the Outreach Coordinator and now serves as Program Associate. She has spoken at numerous organizations, universities and conferences on issues around sex work including legal, health and safety concerns; media/policy advocacy; and funding restrictions imposed on organizations.
Kristen is currently pursuing a degree in Media Studies at Hunter College.
