
Sienna Baskin, Esq. is an Equal Justice Works Fellow with the SWP. Her fellowship serves victims of trafficking into prostitution through immigration representation, family reunification, policy advocacy and organizing. Sienna also provides legal education, advice and representation to sex workers in New York on a variety of issues, and advocates for policy changes on the state level to improve the legal environment for sex workers.
Prior to law school, Sienna advocated for poor people's rights in various settings. She worked against the expansion of prisons in rural Massachusetts, as an abortion counselor in Philadelphia, and taught writing workshops to kids in housing projects and women in prison. Sienna is a graduate of Hampshire College and City University of New York School of Law.
